Work, work, all day long

Off to work now. I'm going to be so glad when school starts, I get to see my friends, and I won't have to work so much(: Then dance starts! I miss all those kids!(: Senior pictures this evening with my aunt diane!(: I'm sure pictures will be up on her blog!

Camping Cake!

So I had some friends from YADAPP come over for a campout, but due to lack of people we just decided to sleep on the couch(: But here's the cake in the making.

So this is just when I was making the icing....fyi. Icing takes a while to make!

As soon as I made the batter for the cake and poured it into the pan....the power goes out! GREAT....so I called up my Ganny and Papa and they still had power so I drove over to their house, put the cakes in the oven, and watched Teen Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune with them(:

It's DONE!(:

Now that's a lot to clean up....Hahaha. Getting the icing to taste just right with all the food coloring was difficult, and so.....my sleeping bags kind of tasted a bit funny=/

Been a while....

It's been quite a while since I've been on blogspot so I've decided to create a new one. I've recently, within the last year, become really interested in making cakes. Because I''m having a campout with my YADAPP Youth Leaders on Friday I'm going to be making a camp out cake. Check back soon for pictures of it. I'm so excited about it, especially since I just spend $40 on new cake supplies!
